Dear Unite members at JB Hi-Fi,

JB Hi-Fi workers will get another 50 cents an hour on your paid, rate with a minimum of $14 an hour. It starts from this week’s pay packet.

As you know JB Hi-Fi and Unite have been in dispute over getting a pay rise and a union contract.

After consulting the delegates we decided to take the money and restart negotiations to try and finalise the proposed union contract this month.

We have offered them some dates.

I’ll keep you advised going forward.
