SPECIAL TRAINING HALF-DAY
OPEN TO ALL DELEGATES AND MEMBERS WHO WANT TO BE ACTIVE IN THE UNION
Over a period of four days from Tuesday November 24 to Friday Nov 27 there will be special 4-hour education and training sessions in Auckland open to all delegates and members who want to get more involved in the union. These will be paid training periods of four hours if you are rostered to work at that time.
Sessions will be held in the morning, afternoon and evening. A special session will be held at midnight to 4am for SkyCity and other workers rostered on graveyard shifts. There will be some new & exciting material for anyone who has attended before and will be suitable for anyone new to union activities.
We need to give employers two-weeks’ notice of who will be attending. We need to know which time suits you best and we want to have a confirmed list by this Friday evening. Over the next few days we will ring as many of you as possible but if you are interested please reply to this email or contact your organiser directly.
